• A phonetic alphabet used to transcribe Mandarin for students of that language and for inputting Chinese, used in Taiwan, shortened as Zhuyin; also known as bopomofo from the first letters of the alphabet: (l, cmn, ㄅ ㄆ ㄇ ㄈ, tr=bo po mo fo, sc=Hani). Hanyu pinyin romanisation "zhùyīn fúhào" written in Zhuyin becomes (lang, cmn, ㄓㄨˋ ㄧㄣ ㄈㄨˊ ㄏㄠˋ).
